You know, after getting through 3 yrs of cancer and two family deaths, I am eager to return to gardening. Last few days, hurricane like winds temps 40's and 50's. Wind stopped last eve, I cleaned the coop. Today, I wake up to THIS-Really??!!I mean look at the top of the chicken run (just past corner of deck rail) It's chain link, you would think it had a covered roof!

Ok, so, tomorrow is gonna be 70* and thunder storms and then back to the 50's. Winter GO AWAY!!!

My garden is still under at least 15" of snow. But, wonder of wonders, I see bare ground over the septic tank!

Me and my chickens are sick of mud! I'm about 30 min. W. of Port Huron.

I know you all have really had it rough! I am thankful I don't live by you! No offense, I'm just gardening starved after the past 3 yrs. I hope all your snow doesn't cause too much flooding and yuck.

Got to go out into the yard for the first time and start straightening up! I NEED to get my greenhouse up and running because my seedlings inside are getting a bit leggy. Looking forward to getting the farm set up for chicken & gardening!!
