What did you do in the garden today?

Glad you got a good rain!!! The last couple weeks, the t-storms have been hit or miss here in Mass. All misses for our gardens. Of course since I bought a few bales of second cut hay, and left them out. . . . .the rain was a direct hit!!

Finally got rain today - after I had watered the new plantings, per my grandma's dictum...

That's how it works. It does that to me quite often.

I didn't do anything in the garden today....had to chase pigs and put then back in the pen....and then rain.

Love the reseeding suggestions. I tend to be an eager weeder in early spring and will pull out seedlings before I become familiar with the baby plants

I worked a long day a just did garden inspection when I got home. Anybody have any (organic) suggestions for flea beetles? They are bugging my eggplants (had them last year too)

So you are not a lone. Just keep reseeding!!

May has been a rainy month here . Planted spinach in late March . Usually April is rainy but nope not this year . Spinach sprouted late . I just knew it would start raining so I didn't water . So I missed my chance . Only 1 to 1 1/2 inches tall . Day length will tell it to bolt now . Spring is too iffy here for spinach . Fall is better .

Thank you! I would love to hear what experience you or others here have had with this. The reviews are unclear/mixed on whether it will harm beneficials...
