What did you do in the garden today?

What did I do in the garden today?

I set up mouse traps. Ever since we had to unload the chickens, we've developed a bumper crop of mice. When one showed up in the house, the commander in chief sent the army (me) to war. killed one in the house already. Today I set up 8 different traps outside as well. Time to clean them out.

New chickens will be coming March 28.

cats are a wonderful thing....just sayin...Phil

Ditto, Guvnah. I will never become a crazy cat lady because they aren't my thing. Much prefer dogs... BIG dogs.

Well, I'd have no problem becoming a crazy dog guy.

Some people like cats. I am not one of them.

Some people like dogs. That's me.

Some people hate dogs. I am not one of them.

Everyone here likes chickens, else we wouldn't be here. Some people might consider me a crazy chicken guy. And I revel in that. Whoever disagrees with me is relegated to my crazy non-chicken pile.

Hah, I just like all the critters--oh, except mice, of course. There's a limit on how many pets we can have in this HOA, so I can't indulge just now. As for mice, I keep trapping them in the garden shed, but thankfully none in the garage so far. That reminds me I need to rebait the trap and get it back out there. If I set two, they seem to get wise to it and avoid the second one. I noticed the same thing in the RV; and they caught onto using cotton wool in the trap pretty quickly and figured out how to get the bait without springing the trap.:barnie
