How would these be for cool raised beds or compost bins? They'd likely last a lot longer than wooden sided raised beds, that's for sure. I really like the round one...easy to mow around.

planted more peas, with an inoculant. beets. spinach. cold tolerant. Still winter here....can snow any time in April......

I'm thinking about doing this around my fruit trees so I can concentrate their compost, making it deeper and keeping the chickens from scattering it. It's a really neat idea and should look pretty good also.

The wooden raised bed is made from recyled pallets.

Finally finished watering my asparagus plants. Real nice with those recycled pallets there! Way to go environmentally friendly!

Made a strawberry bed out of a old tractor tire today . Filled it with rotted wood chips ( like black peat ) added a light sprinkling of wood ashes and dry chicken poo . Then planted . Beautiful sunny day around 60 .

What do you all feed your berry plants with? I used rabbit poo for my strawberries when I planted them.
