What did you do in the garden today?

So tomorrow is day 18 and lockdown for my first ever batch of eggs, I set 15, all were fertile but two quit between days 7 and 10, all the others looked good on day 14. I think I'm pleased with my homemade incubator so far.

I tried Peking ducks but I lost interest pretty quickly. To messy for me.

Nice. I've never bought anything on eBay. Indeed.

Ah. I have pekins a mallard and three Swedish. I really like my pekins, the 5 of them (and one swede) have managed to out lay the 22 hens year round.

I did, it's been yucky. The ground froze, that shouldn't even be possible!

Awesome! Post pics! How are your turkey doing?

We got ice and a lot of it. I had to get dh to help me up and down our steps they are brick covered by a 1/2" of ice! We had to go to town and saw snow along the base of trees in the woods. hahaa
Hopefully we get cold long enough to kill off all the bugs!

I took my 4 year old nephew over to see it zip and we got watch it hatch!!! He was soooooo excited!
