What did you do in the garden today?

Set up my first ever teepee trellis in the center of the garden today. Planning to plant pole beans at the base of it once the chance of frost is gone. I'm also hoping it makes a nice playhouse, of sorts, for my 4-year-old. I still need to line the base with a weed barrier and maybe some wood chips.

Well my Dh got the RR ties up by the rabbit house to make the garden but it started raining.
I was so impressed our little cart from TSC hauled those RR ties with no trouble at all!

The two in the middle are only 6' long since we had to cut them off at the ground the other two are 8'.
But we are still going to do a small bed in the ground for mellons and pumpkins.
Don't mind the cow's, I caught little girl at a bad time. lol

Chickens are still on the garden for the winter so I suppose I fertilized by feeding the chickens, and checked the rodent traps because a mole got in last year and then a few different varieties of rodents moved into those burrows. Catching fewer rodents so hopefully progress is made rather than them getting shy.....

I am up over 15 of a couple kinds of rodents in the garden since fall. Gray Squirrel is begging to die too since it has begun chewing on the tote I keep my grill accessories in.
