What did you do in the garden today?

Watered my transplants and laid out the irrigation schematics (on paper). Hubby got the raised beds/dripline/plastic mulch done on Tuesday).

Wanted to have tomatoe, tomatillo, pepper, melons, squash, and cukes in the ground but it's going down to 36° the next two nights! In Kentucky :(

Sounds wonderful lazy gardener. I will have to look up Cornelian Cherries.

My one Nankin Cherry that we planted before our last freeze died.

Garden coming along nicely.
We had more storms over last Fri. and we had limbs all over the place we had to clean up and burn took all day.

Glad I didn't plant anything. This week has been cold! Hopefully the fence will go up this week and it will start getting warmer. My seeds my not even have time to grow outside...

I started my tomatoes in the house. You can start most in the house before you plant outside.

I tried to start the tomatoes inside as well. They all died. My peppers did well inside but that's about it. I might start them outside in pots or containers and bring them in if need be.
I've got the opposite problem.
My tomatoes are doing better than my pepper inside. Partly cuz my cat ate some of the peppers.

Trench 1 is done and backfilled with amended soil. Now off to do trench 2.
