What did you do in the garden today?

I saw a lot of living fences in Guatemala. They were fascinating. I'd never seen one before.

I think it looks so cool when it's done and in bloom. My grandmother had one in Germany and it was so beautiful. I can't wait till get it finished and the vines all planted

Yeah, Mistress, i tried that today but i can't seem to stop doing things. Maybe if they put me in a full body cast.... But i did not work on the coop!
I did housework mostly. Painted the work table husband made me, and watered the garden. Might go shopping tomorrow, that is almost like a vacation.

Finally supposed to have a sunny day today! Hoping to let the baby chicks & mama out of the pen today. I also want to do some more weeding. The morning glories are trying to take over the rose bed again. I had been pulling them out when they were small, but when my knees went out, a bunch of new ones sprouted that didn't get pulled right away. I love the ones blooming in the morning glory bed, but the ones in the rose bed have to go!

I need to get some paint to re-do the trim on the chicken coop, and also to do the trim on our garden shed. Not sure if I ever mentioned that in the spring hubs & I started a project turning an old (unused) shed into a garden shed. It's coming along well, and I really want to get it done before winter, if possible.

Our general purpose shed turned into a garden shed once we got the garage shed and the workshop. Now we just need to move the rest of the tools etc out of there. It is located very close to the garden, bonus!
