What did you do in the garden today?

Rest/sleep is elusive here also. Taking a nap just doesn't happen. I intended to sleep in a bit this morning since I slept so poorly all night. Nope. not gonna happen. Laid there listening to the morning sounds, and just had to get up and get going. Hubby... he's a professional sleeper. i do wish there was such a thing as a happy medium! Occasionally, I'll crash and burn, but those events are rare. I'm more apt to be perpetually tired, but just can't turn off the gears enough to actually sleep.

This sounds oh so very familiar. There is just too much to do to stay in bed. My mind wakes up even when my body begs for sleep.

Hey KM, how are you???? (aside from being tired, that is!)

When i can't sleep i concentrate on breathing. In, out in, out. I slip off to dreamland. Now if i could breathe while asleep i might get rested but i stop breathing about every 90 seconds and my cpap is broken. I have an appointment with a sleep specialist but it needs to happen much sooner.

That's tough. "They say" that breathing is important. I'm a firm believer in that theory.
I have reactive airway disease, and am mostly affected at night.

I do what I call sidewase thinking. As I try to relax t make myself daydream. Silly dreams I won the lottery and go from there. This helps me drift off to sleep even if it's for a few minutes.

What I've been doing lately since I've feeling tired all the time (doc is figuring it out,) trying to accept it. I get up do a little or too much, rest and repeat.

Try not to feel guilty or upset with it. At least once a day when you rest if possible put on your favorite music, do things like wash your hands, enjoy it . Massage them. Put some lotion on hands and arms. Just take your time.

I may not be able to do daily but I take a plastic bin put some water in and just soak my feet even for a moment! Will help u relax a bit so you may get a few moments of true rest.

Hope you feel better!

I love to take a nice long bubble bath. I don't work on Sunday. We take care of the animals but other than that no work.

I make my meal for Sunday on Saturday. On Sunday my son and I go to Church then come home and have family time together.
I'm going to start again tomorrow, I used to take a nice long bath on Sunday night. I turn off the lights and light candles, listen to music and sipping tea. I think I need to start doing it again. And some of you sound like you might need that me time too.
Hope all of you get some rest and relaxation.
