The sum total of my sweet potato and carrot harvest for this year. I guess they needed more water or something!

Ok if you can tell this I can now say my potato crop was a total flop as well. Maybe enough for one meal they were in my compost pile and I was expecting more. I did not buy potato seed so maybe that was the problem.

I actually used seed potato did not have squat for potato harvest either actually have one still growing

Who knew growing food was so difficult? My gardens always used to do better than this. But i did plant late.

our spring here was so wet we broke records set back in the 40's last year in rainfall ya I was late planting do not like paying in the rain anymore

I think it is time to dig the sweet potatoes, the leaves seem to be dying off. Maybe tomorrow if it is not raining.

I did not use potato seed either. I just cut the eyes off a sweet potato that I had and planted them.

I bought small started plants. In TN i used to buy rooted cuttings, they grew well.

Always say I’d lose weight or worse if I had to rely on what my garden produced.

I’ve rooted cuttings in the window sill of sweet potatoes. Makes for nice color if nothing else. Don’t think they’ll continue till spring.

Here’s the rest of the sunflowers. These were last to start blooming.
The rest have been eaten by the birds already.

I didn't do any flowers I have roses and clematis they are doing well but my favorite is one old rose we brought from Shelton dug way down to get the root ball and it has come back so strong this year
