Good job, i will pm you my address...Some of you may remember I planted eleven strawberries sometime around last May. Well they went crazy and I’ve been dividing them up ever since. So far I’ve moved over 194 of them. I’m only half way through the bedI don’t even do anything special when or after I planted them. I barely even watered except when it didn’t rain for a month or two.
Bonjour et bienvenue!I hope you guys don't mind me joining you in the gardening chat!
Wow amazing strawberry growth! I need to do something with mine if it ever stops raining! Due to next week so I'll add thinning them to my list of things to do! I've only had a garden for 2 years so I'm still a total newbie and on a huge learning curve!
Last April we bought the old tobacco barn that is right next to our garden, it has given me a south facing wall in my gardenI didn't do anything with it last year and it has ended up as a messy weed infested dumping area which was making me sad as my washing line is right there and DH cross as he can't get the mower / strimmer in. This morning before it started raining I've managed to weed, flatten, cardboard and thick shredded wood mulch about a metre out from the barn on half the length. I still have the other half to do but it has brambles and all sorts so wont' be as easy. I'm so pleased with the results - very clean and tidy! I also had a hack at some of my hibiscus bushes to tidy them up. The weather is meant to get a bit cooler but clear and sunny over the weekend and into next week so looking forward to getting lots done!
Welcome, PouleChick! It sounds like a job for goats - do you have any, or know anyone you could borrow some from? They could probably clean your property up, and save you a lot of work!I hope you guys don't mind me joining you in the gardening chat!
