What did you do in the garden today?

Planted carrots, red onions, and candy onions. (Brussels and kale were planted already)
Going to try to get lettuce, peas and broccoli/cauliflower seedlings in either later or in the am.

Had my chicks out with me inside a straw bale fence.

Welcome to the garden thread .... We had a trip to big town bird auction on Saturdays drop off today lost my Lavender ameracauna on purpose today stopped at Ace Hardware 2 bags potting soil 2 early girl tomato nice healthy plants foot tall now growing from seed here not feasible

I started a bunch from seed and will have lots of extra plants I’ll give away to friends because I wasn’t sure of my success rate.. I’d never done it before but my parrot room looks like a greenhouse right now

It rained overnight. It rained all morning. Had a stinging hail storm in the afternoon.
This morning in the early dawn I saw bats! Guess it’s spring...I’m just not feeling it.

We have rain today suppose to be dry tomorrow ground is soaked but lacked the normal wet from winter it was like driest of forever did pickup 2 very nice looking tomato at least a foot tall each early girl a good choice for out wet environment

Day three of 40 mph winds. We missed out on the snow, but had a small dust storm blow up from Texas. Everything is coated in red/brown yuck. I'll need to grab a bottle of spray from the hose window cleaner and scrub the windows down. What a mess. My sinus' are going insane between the tree pollen and the dust blowing around, and the temps today barely made it above freezing. The windchill was about 20 in the heat of the day.

Nothing accomplished garden-wise besides watering the cells. Tomorrow I will get the petunias and pansies in their porch container. I will also replant any cells that didn't germinate and toss those jiffy pods and replant the whole flat. The pods were free. Now I know why.
