Last scheduled day for frost in our area was yesterday. Woke up to frost this morning.


Maybe a cooler summer this year, crossing my fingers.

Things are just starting to really leaf out here.

Our weather looks good throughout the ten day forecast.

I am working on hardening off my plants.

Well my DH filled a hole around the chick run. Waiting for an estimate from someone who can do a stone patio as base for shed. Got approval from local planning commission for housing upgrade for the hens. Yeah!

Made chocolate cake so far and butter cream frosting chocolate with berries on top when we eat it

Two tomato plants are setting fruit, nicely. Cucumbers and crooked neck squash starting to vine. Four pepper plants are flowering. Blueberries have fruit (not ripe yet). Blackberry vines have beautiful flowers. -will be setting fruit soon!! Now, severe storms are forecast for tomorrow.

Your leaps and bounds ahead of us in growing we have things just starting

Planted some seedling hollyhocks outside . Potted up some smaller ones . Moved a couple of seedling flats of coneflowers out to the little greenhouse . We will still likely get some frost but these are biennial so should be ok .

It rained all day. Dreary and gloomy the sun never came out.
Found bowls at the Family Dollar that are the perfect size for my hangers.
Planted Petunias...had tons of seeds.
Almost thinking about lighting a fire ~

go look at my tomato again transplanted them into 10 gallon grow bags bout 2 early girls at least a 1 foot high closer 2
