Hide the trunk stump. It’s nearly flat but I can’t plant anything there so I thought something like a sculpture or maybe s birdbath.

Get a large clay dish and fill it with rocks. Pollinator watering hole.

Went to check the bee watering dish and one of the little brats zapped me in the cheek. Dang it. I wasn't doing anything !

Fed the squash. Tied up more tomatoes, watered everything, which means it will rain tonight.

I was thinking a watering hole for chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits and any other wild that might need a drink.

Having internet issues with this weather. Still spraying for blight, apparently that task will be never ending. Did solve the bean problem, new leaves coming out are a lovely green! Phosphorus deficiency, added some nitrogen too just in case. Never would have thought to do that but was a suggestion from the local extension office.
Mostly avoiding the heat these days. Couldn't fry an egg, but might be able to boil one outside.

Using our free tires to plant they are low on my totem pole for space
I have seed just did not use it although yours looks great

There was a breeze! I was able to stay out this evening to weed one bed that was very weedy. Finished fertilizing the peppers and tomatoes. And the Japanese beetles are in full swing now...they prefer my soybeans the most, and bush beans are their second favorite menu item.

Planted a lot of radishes again for pickled radishes. If you haven't tried pickled radishes they are super good, even my kids love them.

My father in law, best gardener I've ever met, has always said the only way you can guarantee it will rain is to water your garden, he's usually right Lol!
