We no longer do canning, but when we did,,,,,,, we used this juicer for tomatoes. Still have the machine. Nobody around us, does tomato canning anymore

How do all others here process your tomatoes? As sauce, or as diced, whole, or other fashion![]()
Luckily I am not allergic to them. It did hurt like the dickens though.
I am still seeing some flying around.
They are way more aggressive than yellow jackets by the way.
The easiest way to tell the difference when they are airborne is the rear legs. The European Paper Wasps dangle the rear legs while yellow jackets keep theirs tucked up to the body.
Oh and the wasps have yellow/orange antenna while the jackets have black.
I quarter my tomatoes when canning.
