I haven't pruned them at all. I've had hydrangeas before on other properties. I've never experienced a total non bloom forming plant. I'll try bone meal this next Spring and see if that works. If not, they will be dug up and replaced.Hydrangea blloming issues are actually more likely a stress or pruning issue. They like to be left alone.
