What did you do in the garden today?

Afternoon all. I got both of the coops whitewashed today. I'm going to give them a couple of days and decide whether to do a second coat or not. It only took about 2.5 hours to do both. I have to do the 2x2s in the mini coop but need a smaller brush so that'll have to wait until the weekend.

Good morning all!!!
Beautiful horse @WthrLady absolutely fantastic!
Sorry about your little sweetie @Acre4Me but glad you get to keep the grom home for some recovery time. Hope all is well asap.
Garden looks fabulous!!! @igorsMistress love, love, love!!! I want to try potatoes like you do them. Super smart
Sorry about the big winter blast all. Baking sounds awesome. I don't get to do much of that and I like to bake but just too hot here. Enjoy for me!!!
New chicks sounds so exciting!!! Oh how I would love to order more <3<3<3
My bantam is still happily sitting- almost 1 week down, 2 + to go. I'm excited to see little 1/2 versions of my girls.
It is the strangest thing that both my little wild girls, the ones I ALWAYS have to go hunt down their eggs have settled at home because of getting a roo of our own. Bantam #2 laid in the nest box yesterday. Total shocker. I expect she will go broody soon too, she has that look and history.
We have sun today and a cool NW breeze. I can feel spring around the corner and I can see it too- so hold tight folks, you all will be in up to your elbows in dirt and garden bliss soon.

DH went to glue a pipe at the ranch while feeding the horses this morning, then he is off to pick up MIL. She comes in at 10:30 today instead of Friday... (I try to stay out of the family confusion as much as possible) so I am home cleaning and getting ready for the visit.
I walked the yard and got some green photos for you all. It is always so beautiful after a rain and my photos do not due justice, but their is NO snow in the photos and that in itself may be refreshing.

Have a wonderful and warm day all!!!
Look at all that green! What is that in the first pic? Very pretty whatever it is.

I
Did Bear and goat living in Juneau was young Bear is good if it isn't spring otherwise
they taste like fish
I DO like goat, better than mutton, but I couldn't really tell you why ... just that there's a difference. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. It's really not b-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ad!

What do you use for your whitewash? Commercial or your own mix? I haven't tried it, yet, but I need to do something when Spring hits (fingers crossed ... I want my flip-flops back, NOW!) My coo pis an old wooden playhouse, and it definitely needs some sprucing up. I'm thinking that whitewash may be just the thing!
