How many plants all together you thunkin of putting in? I to would like to do some sauce an some canned diced. Im thinking 24 an hoping that would work.

I'm planning on 16 Super Sauce , 12 Amish Paste , and 6 Big Boys . So 34 plants in all . I'm going to cage and trellis them .

Not everybody is a fan of tilling, but I have to, and I take advantage of the opportunity to add compost when tilling to further improve soil structure and nutrient levels.

My soil is similar to what you have. For mucho years I added all the fall leaves over winter to garden area. In Spring, I tilled them all in. My soil in garden area is really fluffy now. I am a FAN of tilling regardless of what other peeps do and say and choose
