Aloha garden gang,
I have done nothing but babysit a tiny chicken for the last 2 days and I am absolutely exhausted also I have lost slightly more of my mind. This not having a partner chick or a brooder is terrible and I finally think I may have too many chickens. Mater of fact I think that this was a very well thought out diabolical plot hatched by my DH to cure me of my chicken math... very clever DH...

Somebody has a tail this morning!!!
The two new roos are settling and very nice boys.
DH finished the coop for the Hawaiian kids this eve, I would have helped build but was busy taking chicken selfies... lol. We loaded it with the two teen birds and onto our rubbish trailer for a morning delivery. BYE BYE!!! I am thrilled to get them gone, 2 down... 50 to go.
Love the garden talk, planning and photos. Keep em coming!
I've picked a few more tomatoes and some lettuce. Think I will plant a few sweet 100 tomatoes in my empty box and switch tall cage when the time comes. And plant more salad greens.
Sent DH to town for the "bottom falls out shop". My truck was full of rooster cages the other day so I only did a quicky shop. I'm prepared always for hurricanes and tsunami's. This time we just want to stay out of the mix so we topped off our already full cabinets and freezer. Gatorade, bread and soy milk lol Just in case...
They have closed our CC and probably all schools, small ag seminar is canceled... sure all kinds of stuff I don't know or care about. Looking forward to this being behind us. It is just darn weird.
OK, stay safe and well all.
