25% survival, sounds about right after transplanting.
I wouldn't sweat it.
YES! It's JUST like hurricane prep. But I always did that in May and then fresh food prior. Same with tornado and blizzard season.
I went into the city today to get a new banjo string. I ended up just selling her. I don't play as much as I want to and arthritis makes it no fun any more. Sad but true.
Went into Michaels and got myself a cricut. I figured out how much it was going to cost me to have someone else make my signs and the cost of doing it myself. Ya. Much cheaper to do myself.
Then farm store to pick up feed.
Then the grocery. Picked over but not in the areas I cared about. The quickie, premade, convenience food and junk food was few and far between, but there was plenty of milk, bread, fruit, baking supplies, etc. I guess people don't cook and bake anymore. No surprise. It's all that junk food that's going to kill them. Forget the current bug. Kiddie cereals, poptarts, neon orange mac and cheese, and fake containers of pudding.....junk junk junk
