What did you do in the garden today?

Lovely sunny day so I put the chicks in the run and DP and I watched them run around and act like tiny chickens. Natasha and Coraline both found bugs and ran like thieves with their booty with everyone else in hot pursuit. Cleaned out the coop but probably only needed to fluff the pine shavings. Oh well, pine shavings are cheap. Built the 16th raised bed and this one is specifically for clover for the rabbits and chickens. Fertilized the seedlings in the greenhouse and raised beds then re-potted one of the basil and one of the okra. Might have to give up and buy more 15 gallon pots for the peppers and tomatoes that won't have space in the raised beds.

Holy Hole in a Donut Batman! I got some seeds sprouting...and they're my "park seed" spinach mix ones too!!

Also a few cosmos and what I *think* is some type of chili pepper.

I'm really BAD at not labeling seedlings...its like growing something in your belly and not knowing the gender. Well, maybe not that bad? SURPRISE...its a...something?!?

Didn't get much done outside as I was programming exams for the week to come. All of our courses migrated to an online LMS mid March so I'm like @WthrLady but I'm busting out exams vs. masks. Supposed to be in the high 50's tomorrow so praying to take advantage. Will post pics of the seedlings rising in the next few days granted they don't look like one-legged zombies...

Hugs and Sleeps Well to All!!

Candled the eggs, no idea what's going on in there. 27/28th will see.
125 more masks to go then I QUIT.
I have eggs due to hatch on the 28th too!! Good luck!
Oops, no they are due on the 23rd. The 28th is when I should get an email notice from Cace Hatchery that I can go pick up my Cornish cross meat birds!!

I peeked inside my garden wagon greenhouse and am happy to report that all of the profited things survived the freeze in there!
@pasdechat73 im like you. Most of the seeds I planted didn’t get labeled. I wanted to label them, I just didn’t have enough popsicle sticks yet. 😂
I did try to go back and remember what was what and label them by writing in pieces of duck tape! We’ll see how well that worked.
I also checked on my raspberry plants. They all seem to be doing great!

Aloha garden gang,
Wow! Everyone is busy. Great photos @AllenK RGV & @igorsMistress. Nice to see things thriving :love.

Well, now that we have dried out I am back to working on the front lanai in between all of the other stuff I have going on. Got it all sanded and cleaned up yesterday, first coat of poly this morning and thinking I could probably get away with a second coat this eve though i'd like to wait till tomorrow... We gotta pick up hay and do some delivering to friends so that may eat up a large portion of the day... oh what to do lol.

My DH went to town yesterday for a few odds and ends, one being a water filter for our refrigerator. I normally do the picking up and have never had a problem figuring out the one we use but DH took out existing filter, took a photo and did not replace tightly...? IDK but we had about 4 cups of water in the produce drawer this morning when I woke. I keep my seeds in the back of that drawer... :thmaybe time to do a massive plant and share.

I picked up some peppers and kale seedlings from the farmers market yesterday being my peppers did a no show and I have tuff luck keeping the what I think is moths away from my kale starts. So, most exciting! I need to figure out more garden space, nice cool chickens cant get to garden space. Though girls did give me 8 eggs today. Always love the look of that.
