What did you do in the garden today?

Let me talk to DH tonight & see what he says!! Thank you so much for the offer! I purchased some 7ft bamboo poles from amazon to try those for the beans too, we'll see how that goes. They haven't come in yet, but should next week.

@FortCluck I have never grown it, but I know people use it kind of like mint, in a drink or it a fruit salad. I know the hummingbirds love it!
I also got citronella, lemon boy tomatoes, yellow peppers (I forget the correct name), and I got something else.

I was thinking of putting the sage fresh in oil then putting it on chicken.

I also have mint and no clue what to do with it 😂

I planted my dill in the herb bed with sage, lavender, thyme and oregano @Sueby. Apparently that's not a good place for the dill to be because apparently dill doesn't like other herbs. I'm going to try a couple of large pots of it. Hopefully that will give me enough to dry. I put one of my rosemary plants in the new big garden bed with the potatoes. Apparently that's not a good idea either. I'm still really new to growing herbs and learning along the way. BTW: I did hear about those killer hornets @igorsMistress. Very scary. I always worry when I hear about any threats to our pollinators because we can't live without them.

Silver Queen Corn is up. Okra is up. Purple Hull peas, Blue Lake Green beans, Ford hooks are all breaking the soil. Squash and Zucchini are doing good. Cucumbers are a little slow. Peppers, tomatoes and herbs are all coming along.

Very scary indeed! I am reading about the hornets now, they are some mean little beasts!

I'm always amazed at pictures of flat land gardens. Born and raised on the East Coast, hills are never in short supply. Wide open flat land is interesting.

Hi Craig, welcome to the garde thread. Looking good there!

Good morning gardeners. It's a beautiful morning here, cool despite daytime highs close to 100. I cleared out all the dead leaves and pulled the weeds around the rosemary bush yesterday afternoon while hubs built me a sprinkler for the grass from some pvc we had laying around. I pinched back the basil, moved the mint to a different spot in the garden and repotted a house plant as well. I still need to mulch the peppers and squash some time today and get out front to pull some more weeds. Temps are supposed to be 107 on Wednesday/Thursday so definitely doing it that stuff today. Guess I better get busy, my coffee cup is empty. Have a great day all!
