Managed .55 inches of rain yesterday. Just 20 miles south 1.8 and another 5 south of that 5".
Ya. I'm good with .55.
More coming tonight and tomorrow night and Monday. Every drop counts this time of year.
Today is scrubbing chicken prison cages, poo picking, and scrubbing the winter panels. I also need to get to the market and deliver poo. Not in that order of course.
Niece graduates HS at 1pm Eastern. They drive by the school front office at their designated time, with a car full of family, jump out in cap and gown. Grab diploma, get quick photo and jump back in car. (Every parent's dream ceremony, every graduates nightmare.) The senior class was broken up into 5 groups. Each group has a day next week assigned to them. Then on that day from 5-7pm they can sit outside their decorated house/lawn and people can drive by and honk and wave in celebration. No stopping, no parties. I mailed a ton of decorations last week as they have been in lock-down and everything has been closed since March. So she's all ready. Full Academic Ride to Private univeristy. Sniff, sniff....so proud of her. (For those that remember the saga from last year, yes, this is the family the dad simply walked out on last MAY. Just up and left and has never returned.)
My DS didn't have a ceremony either, he was home schooled. We went out for our traditional end of school year banana split. Since he was graduating, I sprung for extra cherries. LOL.
He graduates college next June: Double major, double minor.
So Hats off to all the grads this year!
