What did you do in the garden today?

Picked some peppers, attached all the parts to the greenhouse I could do before putting up the roof. Then waited for the part to be delivered to install the roof then got a test from Lowes saying it could not be delivered today and now I am waiting until tomorrow. No big deal because I have until late October to get this finished unless we have an early frost. I did get a partial delivery, the plastic that will go around the sides which I do not need until late October.

I also thinned out my Bok Choy a little bit and fed the plucked plants to my rabbits. Also I broke off a branch from a male hemp plant and rubbed it all over the furthest female plant in an attempt to increase seed production since I am growing it for the seeds to feed chickens.

It is perfect weather to get outside but still windy so didn’t stay out there long. Did take some pics though, I’m very pleased with the xeriscape area. Almost everything made it through the heatwave. The aloe is actually turning green, a couple of the shrubs are flowering and the latest transplant that will some day be a tree seems to be surviving as well.

we have had 3 or 4 days of perfect weather here, been outside a lot. Although it rained shortly in the AM here. You have just enough wind to keep it from being perfect, I have enough Humidity. I went for perfectly comfy outside to sweating buckets by doing some heavy lifting. Temps around 70 and humid are nice until you burn some calories and start sweating. The Sweating never stops if it can't evaporate so I came inside to sit next to a fan and read posts.

I get it! When we actually have monsoons it gets like that, especially in the morning when the sun first comes up and everything is still wet.
Hey you’ve had Ayam Cemani before. Would say this is a pullet? 6 weeks today and I’m waffling back and forth. Compared to the other one it has a much smaller comb but...

Right now it looks like a Pullet because none of the saddle and hackle feathers look pointed, the comb is bigger than I would expect but sometimes females just have big ones. I would not bank on it being a pullet but its my guess today.

See that’s what I think too. I’m holding out to see then, thanks!

Aloha garden gang!
Just a quick check in. Nothing much growing veggie wise for me so I am rearranging and dumping poop, trimming, mowing and watering. Not in that order...
Had a few adventures, a few more chicks for a total of thirty something now lol, managed a few more rehomings and playing with the horses some more too. It is pretty frickin warm here and I just don't have words now a daze. So, as usual, photos.
