It says, "the largest concern from this invading species is its ability to inflict burns to skin of people that come into contact with the sap from the plant." I didn't know that. I sure hope the domestic version doesn't have the same properties.

Roadside parsnips are a disappointment . Roots do not size up . The purchased seed I grew same problem . They need a mild winter to size up . The undersized roots size up quickly after winter is over but are woody then .

yup we have wild parsnips, and wild mustard, and wild horseradish

I can't imagine. Buffalo Burr, a nightshade member, kills horses pets and other livestock.

But apparently Goats head weed, they use it in Chinese medicine for libido and angina.
