Hi, gardeners. Been lurking a bit; thought I'd jump in and say hi.
Gardenporn catalogs keeps me going until I can start seeds in March/April.
I planted borage as a pollinator friendly plant two years ago. It self seeded nilly willy. The bees love it! The chickens liked the little seedlings. They didn't like the leaves when they got bigger, as they have a stiff "fur" texture. The plants do get big, so I'm relegating it to by the fence only.
Waiting for spring... I miss playing in the dirt. Waiting for eggs... miss my homegrown omelets.

). I am sharing a good deal of the deer with a friend of my son's. He has been trying to get a deer but hasn't been successful and their freezer is getting empty. He has a wife and 3 kids so I know it will be put to good use. The chickens got all the odd bits and pieces.
