I don't like the smell of natural gas, but I can't smell propane at all.
Well except for when DH is using the stove for tea, I get a whiff of gas. I think he lights the burner for too long.
If you smell gas while cooking/heating, something isn't set up right, either the feed/burn ratio or the exhaust.

How about you wait a sec, so I can get outside. He actually looked genuinely worried. But, it was in a drafty stone basement of a really old home, and it was in a wide open area, so no gas would readily accumulate in the area very quickly. So, clearly he was worried about blowing my home up.
