What did you do in the garden today?

Two days ago I put some work into wrangling the spots where the blackberry vines keep fighting their way through.
Yesterday I tackled the oregano and lemon balm, cutting out all the dead and trimming back the mass of roots for a smaller plant size.
And started amending my soil with some nice nice dirt - composted leaves and such.
Found this while digging. It had the tiniest top! I'm surprised it survived. It's so much bigger than any of the other carrots I grew.

I’d love to have one but I don’t think it would last here. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats that would all probably try to play with it. Not to mention the amount of hair it would suck up....
We have 2 inside dogs, 2 outside dogs & 4 indoor/outdoor cats. If you run the vac every day, it's fine, but if you wait several days, the fur clumps mess it up. And then I still have to take it apart every few days to pull out fur that's gotten wrapped around the brushes. Ours is the "bobsweep pet hair plus".

This one uses lasers to map the house and you set up no go areas, like where it will get stuck or places or rooms you do or don't want it to do in any given mission. My sisters just bounces around the house willy nilly and gets stuck all over.

Took advantage of 50 degrees and took 2 cubic yards of soil, pine shavings, and feathers out of both runs. Ridiculous.

Windows are open to let fresh air blow through the house. It's cold, but worth it.

I think a 6x9 foot green house will be plenty. Hmmm

Ours has a laser beam device that you can set up but it's a separate box that has to physically be there... i honestly haven't tried it. it might be worth it some places but it's not fancy enough to stop it from getting stuck on air vents and under the coffee table.

We have 3 cats (include 2 with long hair) and 1 dog. Our dog is half Husky, half Great Pyrenees. In addition to long hair, they have a thick undercoat that is shed twice per year. She sheds so badly that it literally looks like I have an army of chemo patients in my house. We run our Dyson sweeper EVERY DAY, plus I have a handheld Shark Wandvac that we use several times throughout the day to sweep hair off the sofa. If the dog so much as stands within 6" of you, you can guarantee to be COVERED in hair.

Ya. I'm afraid a robot vacuum would run away from home there. LOL.

X 2, three bullies that would love to play/chase. My house would be a disaster!
