morning everyone , if it stays dry i,m going to plant potatoes today and onions if my back holds out .Got every veg bed prepared ,canes in for the beans just got to decide where to put the peas .my ygd brought me another bag of compost bless her .sorted the scrap wood to make some planters with ,i don,t throw anything away if i can help it ,my raised beds are made from old bricks etc collected over the years .I have to go into town first ,in and out quick ,i don,t drive and the bus only runs once an hour so i will have 40 mins to do shopping if i miss that bus it,s another hours wait .Not going to pay taxi fare when i have a free bus pass !

What did you do in your garden today?

I picked a bunch of Rattlesnake green beans and Cherokee wax beans, a few tomatoes, three eggplants, some broccoli shoots, and jalapenos. Pretty happy with today's harvest!

i watered some growing carrots,Tulips,Tomatoes and orange tree and i went to look at my Lemon tree and found out a egg from a hummingbird nest finally hatched!

Good morning everyone gardening resumes today. I’m going to try to finish the stick fence today I think I’ve said that twenty times and it’s still not done . If I have time I’ll weed the small spring garden and the blue berry patch. I think it still be too wet to get into the main garden.
Edit: forgot to add they caught the guy who escaped Thursday a few towns over. No one was hurt.

I actually got out to the garden yesterday and cleaned up the perennial beds. The crocus are blooming and the tulips have broken ground.

The gladiolus are sprouting!! I bought cheap ones from home depot (impulse buy!) and they didn't look so good upon close inspection, so I'm super excited at least some of them made it! We also have tulips starting to bloom, and some little blue things I forgot the name of...I'll include a photo.

The bush beans are sprouting too, but they don't rate a photo, haha.
