What did you do in the garden today?

Good morning. @TJAnonymous happy belated birthday! @penny1960 good luck with those egg plants :gig
I went out to water this morning of course, lots of that here. There are lemons on the tree about the size of apricots now and the Arabian lilac is doing fantastic. One of the bells of fire and one of the lantana are struggling a bit and I’m pretty sure the heat from the wall is the culprit. Hopefully some bunny poop will encourage them to green up. Everything else is maintaining quite nicely although the rosemary I put in the pot will need to be moved. I don’t think it quite gets enough sun so I’m hunting for a place to put it. I was supposed to clean out the quack shack this morning and spread the litter in the garden but didn’t get that done. I didn’t get up until 0530 and by the time I got outside it was already warm in the sun. Summer in AZ. This is the only pic I took this morning, but I love TX sage. This thing was transplanted three times before I settled on this spot and it’s still going strong. Have a great day all!

@igorsMistress I made Rosemary focaccia last night using trimmings from my little plant. I'm trying not to eat too much bread/carbs, but maybe my new rule should be just the bread I make myself. This recipe makes a lot, but my husband and teenage son will help me eat it :) I like to add red pepper flakes and sometimes dried italian herbs.

sitting here waiting for craigslist people who said they were coming out to get tomato plants.
4 different people, so I put them out in the driveway on tables.
Not thinking or caring that a light rain was coming.
The weight of the water on the unsupported plant knocked them all over. UGH. Now they look like crap, I moved them all into the workshop, but people will either understand or they won't.

What's not gone today by 2 goes in the bin.
OH and so far no one has been out. grrr

I love to spend time in the garden, and constantly in is some work. Every 3 days I water all the flowers, my husband says that I am crazy, we have so many flowers. A week ago, my husband gave me a set of garden furniture my happiness has no end. I myself chose how we arrange the furniture, and now my dacha looks great. I have the best husband; I love him; he knows my tastes and is chosen especially for me, even if he does not like it. Share pictures of your garden; I would love to see them.
