What did you do in the garden today?

I will need to make (3) 90-degree turns to get water to the garden. How flexible is the tubing to accomplish that?

The black tubing has 90 degree connectors too.

Might rain again, which I'll take over watering by hand any time. Found out the storm yesterday smashed the landlady's front screen/glass door. Total loss unfortunately, but that's the only damage any of us sustained that will need to be repaired.

Picked a bunch of habaneros today. Need to pick a ton off banana peppers again. I have some super hot pepper ripening too - 1 plant and I forgot the name at the moment, Jamaican Scorpion maybe... Bell peppers are producing well too still, which is amazing because this is my first year ever having success with bell peppers beyond just 1 or 2 tiny peppers.

Shredded more branches from the maple tree were still working on and dumped the chips in the duck run. The chips seem to be working well so far to keep it dry and not smelly or muddy. I probably should dig up the rest of the potatoes. The plants look like they are actually starting to die back finally.

Inside I canned some salsa and brined 5 gallons of pickles to can tomorrow.

I currently have 3 or 4 garden hoses hooked end-to-end and draped on a fence to keep it off the ground. This is still a pain and not sustainable. I need to do something else... My distance is around 350 ft between the house and garden but I will have to cross under the driveway. I have a culvert I can use if I put the tubing in a conduit or something to protect it.

I have it maneuvered around our front porch and bush (I'll add a picture tomorrow).
I need to attach it to the spigot differently because the spigot comes out of the ground, so gravity is trying to crimp the tubing. I also learned that having this faucet turned on means it leaks in the basement where it is hooked up to the sprinkler system (why just this faucet for one switch? I don't even know...). So, I might have to go out to buy some connectors to stretch it to a different spigot. And then, I won't have to go to the basement to turn it on and off. The work is never done when you're a homeowner, I am learning!
