What did you do in the garden today?

Irrigation was clogged.. found some bacterial goop inside blocking the line, ew. Last pineapple is almost ready to pick. Luffas are drying, I am going to make soap as gifts this year. I think my neighbor got a new rooster, whole lot of crowing coming from their yard and it sounds like a different bird too.

Be careful with that pineapple. Had one that was Riiiiight there, was going to get it the next day and a darned coon got it the night before. I was left with a chewed nub. THEY know when it's ripe too.

No garden today. I resisted buying another indoor plant at Walmart. They had a nice sized pony tail palm. I like them and used to have one that died during the last move. I have limited space on the window sill for potted plants, so I need to choose wisely.

That crossed my mind this year - mine are all in 5 gallon pots, not in the ground and some are sitting up on a little wall too so they should be better protected. This one I moved to the greenhouse since it's gotten cool already, nothing should nab it in there.

I'm usually pretty good at speaking google or siri - but I had no idea what bobcat leaves were!

So I think I may have my coccidia outbreak starting with the littles. Got them started on corid today. I'm glad to have the wait over, I've been looking for it since day 1! LOL Hopefully the corid clears it up & I don't have to go to the sulfa like I did last time.

Very chilly out there today. Was pretty windy out yesterday so aaaalmost done with the leaves, but not quite.

Going for a COVID shot & out to dinner with my sister. That's bout all I got! Unless I can cover the strawberries.
