What did you do in the garden today?

Garden is looking so dead! I guess it needs to rest too though.

It didn't help though that we just switched insurance companies and they sent somebody out to take photos of the house. I let her in the yard to take photos of the back of the house, but of course she turned around and took a photo of the garden as well. Waiting to see if I get questions about that from the insurance agent, like "What are the wooden posts sticking up inside the fenced in area? Are you building something?" Then I'll have to explain, "No, they are supports for my garden trellises."

OMG, what was my phone thinking. This is such a weird message thanks to autocorrect and swipe text.
I'm usually pretty good at speaking google or siri - but I had no idea what bobcat leaves were! :lau

So I think I may have my coccidia outbreak starting with the littles. Got them started on corid today. I'm glad to have the wait over, I've been looking for it since day 1! LOL Hopefully the corid clears it up & I don't have to go to the sulfa like I did last time. 🤞

Sourdough bread is pretty simple does not brown like yeast bread in the same time
The only downside to giving my sourdough bread as gifts, is that it is only best quality for a couple of days, and some family members do not eat it fresh and then are not impressed with it. Fresh homemade , preservative free, bread does not hold up like commercial produced loaf bread. It is best for croutons after a couple of days. I give away pickles, preserves and relishes, or fresh produce that gets used swiftly or baked sweets, that hold up better. I do make fresh sour dough bread for my brother who usually eats the whole loaf in the first day!

On my phone, all my typos are mine. I disabled autocorrect, and I don't do swipe. I know what I want to say. Well, most of the time. Autocorrect was driving me batty with some of the stuff I had to type a lot.

I still manage to do some very ... creative ... typos!

Good afternoon gardeners. This week I got back into the swing of things at work. Last weekend my back was killing me, don’t know what I did to hurt myself but gardening wasn’t it. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t take six weeks to get the shade for the west wall of the shade garden. Hubs put it up for me today

It’s finally done other than weeding a little bit and moving a couple of things. I’m really happy with it, we have a decent breeze today and I could see stuff moving in there.
The lemon tree and Arabian lilac. I’m ready to trim but have to wait

Veg garden. I’ve decided planting now would be rushing, and I haven’t had time to add dirt or anything yet. Next weekend is a four day for me so will work on it some then and get new starts going in the interim. Hubs is going to hang my garden sign later today.

The tomato plant in the hydroponic system. I have another trellis coming for it
