Yeah, the tags for the veg rows are bad enough, but all the labeled stakes I used for the shrubs and trees are gone. Fortunately the nursery plastic labels are still readable.
How does that work? Do you print out plastic labels?
I might try this, with lots of clear coat.
I didn't leave enough space between my beds for that and boy am I kicking myself now. That looks so cool!
I'm currently trying grease pencils myself. I started late in the season last year so it's too soon to tell.
When I pull that annoying runner grass out of the beds I throw it into the outer run areas. The dang stuff is like B'rer Rabbit in the briar patch if it gets into the compost. The chickens don't eat it exactly, but any shoot it tries to grow is instantly eaten.
It's so funny when they start that, I think our neighbor's pullets are about to start laying and the singing back and forth is epic!
