What did you do in the garden today?

66 right now and I'm out working in shorts and a Tshirt and I'm too warm.

If there was a breeze, I would be too. But the air is dry, and there is hardly a breeze and I'm working on the green house.

I don't wear shorts if it is not at least 95 f, and for t shirt it should be at least 77! the air is almost always dry here.

I don't think I would survive your winter, lol.

well, I screwed up....doh. I put some marshmallow and columbine seed packets in the garage to let them cold stratify. They got wet. So much for those seeds.... I went ahead and spread them in some dirt just to see what happens but with last frost a month and half away, I doubt they will make it. Guess I have to go buy more seeds now....

Oh, I also picked up two more rose bushes this weekend. That makes 4 rose bushes I need to plant now along with a dozen packets of flower seeds.... Lol. @Phaedra Geiermann has inspired me. Now....if only I actually had PLACES to plant all this stuff!

I went up to the green house today. It's toasty in there! Decent temps the next two days, so maybe stuff will grow a little bit...? Still way too early to plant starts. I did bring about half the pots down to the house so that I can wash and sterilize them.

Since DH liked the frittata I made, and it had (shhh!) broccoli in it, I'm thinking of growing some. DH doesn't like it, so I didn't tell him. I've never grown broccoli before, so any tips?

These few days we had crazy wind so we stay inside most of the time.

However, sowing and germination are going on. I added some lights in one room in the basement for those seedlings to stay after germination in the dark boiler room, but before going to the cold greenhouse.

Boiler room for germination, where the temperature is always around 25 degree C, but the light isn't sufficient.

So seedlings will move here few days for 14-16 hours light.

The peas for shoots are ready to move to the greenhouse.

Had to look it up it is broccoli little stalks of it.
