What did you do in the garden today?

Ground the egg shells. It killed the new black and decker processor I got this week. Back it goes.
I didn't like it anyway. There was no gasket to keep liquids in the mix bowl, DS got latte all over the kitchen.
So there is also no gasket to keep powder from inside the motor, so ask how that went. It's been run 4 times, and did a good job, but now it's dead.

I put a tablespoon in the bottom of each hole at planting, and then 1 Tablespoon once a month sprinkled around each plant. Every three weeks if it has been crazy rainy.

Interesting! What does the aspirin do? I've never heard of using that.

I’m trying to figure out where else I can start more seeds. I’m already out of room.
I need to try my celery seeds again because none came up the 1st go around. I also have several hot peppers to start as well as some flowers.

Try some cutting celery. It sprouts easy and is more like parsley then actual stalks, but has All the celery flavor!

What a cold day for having to be out and about. Well I have a temporary crown and hubby is just waiting to get called for Wisdom teeth. The man managed to make it to 31 before the dentist said get them out. They're not going to knock him out like we were originally told, so he won't be loopy. That means I get to spend the next 24 hours telling him to sit down and stay there. Otherwise he'll be trying to work on the garden

When I had my wisdom teeth pulled they just used a local and laughing gas, but had prescribed me some antianxiety meds. I remember the whole procedure. . . Then lost 6 hrs and was not safe to be around people for 3 days. Somehow managed to steal someones keys during the blackout.

I hear that @NewBoots - DH is in Vegas & said someone just won $330k at the airport. I sure do hope that happens to him so I can cook with propane! Propane is just too expensive if you don't heat with it. Tank rental & then low volume price makes it impossible here.

Got my onion plants! Directions say they'll be ok a few weeks. I should be able to plant them next week. After the snow tomorrow it's supposed to warm up here.

My last move I brought my almost new gas stove with me. A 100lb propane tank cost me $150ish at tsc. I have a 20lber to swap in when the big tank is empty. Then just strap it to the truck and back to TSC to fill. It lasts me 6+ months per fill.

They said we could get 1-2 inches of snow. Pretty sure we are well past that now....and still coming down hard. Ducks are like wtf.... Chickens are nowhere to be found. Pretty sure they went to bed early.

Im in a 6-12" band. But they dont know if it will be all snow or part rain. Judging by the current temps of 38° probably will see half that in liquid form.
