What did you do in the garden today?

@WthrLady thinking about you, your dad and your family-yes please keep us updated.

@TJAnonymous the fairy sculptures, I LOVE them and so would my little DD for her fairy garden. Can you share where you found them, PM if you need.

Today, it is grey and chilly (only supposed to be in the 30s) but should be the last day of 30s for awhile, forecast shows 40s and 50s for the next week. Snow showers as well but no more precipitation until mid week next week so I might be able to get some garden work done-soil turned and compost added.

I got some lovage seed this year so I am excited to try it

Sure! They have a bunch of different ones....

Including the stake, they are between 25 and 45 inches.

  • Single character size: 22 x 20 cm / 8.7 x 7.9 inches
  • Flower head diameter: 15 cm / 5.9 inches
  • Support rod length: 80 cm / 31.5 inches

Dandelions and branches are made of metal, fairies are made of polyethylene

Two are themed on a dandelion, so the fairy image is relatively small, while the other two are themed on the fairy, so the fairy image is relatively large

@WthrLady - I’m sorry to hear about your dad! Hopefully all the ductwork today has gone smoothly, and hopefully your dad is stable.
Ductwork is done. I was upgrading my airscrubber for my son's allergies and my sanity. My current system wasn't pulling enough out of the air.
Dad. No idea. I told my sister I didn't need every micro detail. He's been a widower for 2.5 years and has eaten NOTHING but fast food for 3.5, since mom wasn't cooking. On top of that, a lifetime of fast food as a fireman/police officer- diabetic and HBP, and a crappy job of managing it. AND they botched his shoulder surgery 2x and he has a massive bone and blood infection that he has done nothing with for 3 years. So not a history of taking care of himself. Love him to pieces, but what happens, happens.
Am more worried about sister and what more she'll have to deal with (she lives across the street from him, and she's in the middle of a divorce)
Then anxiety starts kicking in for me and you start questioning everyone of your own twinges, ya know? BLEH.
==========
Snow and rain all day on and off.
Must cover things in the hoop for the night.
