What did you do in the garden today?

This morning, my neighbor and I transplanted the two apple trees she gave us. Lots of chatting, so the time was very pleasant. My back is starting to talk about this now; my arms were a couple hours ago. But it's done!

I'm really running out of steam here, and a nap is calling my name. Resist, resist!

I could go mix up some potting soil... Dang, just the idea makes me even more tired.

Thank you for your concern. Clarification on my arm @Sueby and @WthrLady. My upper left arm has been hurting for quite a while and I finally determined the likely cause. I don’t always lift properly and I realized it several days while getting a bag of stove pellets from the garage I got a stabbing pain when swinging the bag up the steps. So it’s just a muscle strain I’ve been ignoring for months and I need to give it a little time to heal a bit. I have a lot to do that doesn’t require too much muscle action. But I really am fine. One of the things about growing older is learning to accept age related limitations on physical activity. Wishing all the best for your Dad @WthrLady

There is a 150 day fallow policy on culled flocks. But... are they enforcing that for the big suppliers? I don't know. Maybe they just bleach the everloving dung out of the place and resume?
I sure do wonder.

@Wee Farmer Sarah - well take it easy woman! Things don't heal like they did when we were 20.

I have the Todt trial going on in the background - not sure if anyone has heard of it but he is the physical therapist that murdered his wife, 3 kids & even the dog & then blamed the wife. Who was dead. 🤨 He was my physical therapist for my 2nd shoulder surgery so I'm interested in it.
