1/2 inch pvc would work just fine, but be careful bending it over, it will likely kink if bent too sharply.. 3/4 would be better but needs to be anchored firmly in the ground.. I use 1 1/4 pvc cut into 12 inch pieces and drive them into the ground and pull them out and knock the soil out and put back into empty hole, then slip 3/4 pvc into the sleeve in the ground and repeated evenly until area is covered.. a 10 ft stick of 3/4 with bend relatively easy over an 8 ft bed and still be 3 ft off the ground at the highest point. Remember the shorter the pipe the stiffer it is to been into a half hoop..I have a shade/frost cloth that I need to put over my 16'x4' raised bed.
Keep waiting for dollar tree to have HulaHoops but they haven't. Would ½" pvc pipe hold cloth up a d over the plants without draping on em...or is there anything else I could try and use to do this?
Great info thank u!!!1/2 inch pvc would work just fine, but be careful bending it over, it will likely kink if bent too sharply.. 3/4 would be better but needs to be anchored firmly in the ground.. I use a pvc cutter, it’s like a pair of hand pruners but has a super sharp blade and cuts like butter.. inexpensive and a must have for cutting pvc.. depending on how many you need to cut it may be easier (definitely faster) to use a miter saw if you know anyone that may have power tools.. most hardware stores will cut pvc for you when you buy it.. that may be an option too..Great info thank u!!!
Oh n what do u use to cut pvc?
All appliances are super expensive right now. Even when they say Made in America all the parts come from overseas.Holy CRAP are those things expensive !! It's a $#% CHEST FREEZER for crying out loud. NO ice maker, NO waterdispenser NO wifi bull..... it's a box with a chiller on it and you want HOW MUCH??? I can buy a damned window ac and freeze the whole garage down for cheaper than that !
