What did you do in the garden today?

What? You mean I could be SELLING the buns poo? 😳 Right now I'm just dumping it into a separate compost pile from my regular pile. Eventually want to include it but I just haven't gotten around to it. But if I could sell off a bag here and there....
I used to sell medium flat rate boxes to my pepper buddies all over the country.. I made rabbit tea in a 55 gallon plastic barrel and a high volume air pump with giant bubble stones.. root drench and foliar feed everything.. rabbit poop and molasses.. it’s the absolute best thing I’ve ever used for growing deep green huge strong plants.. you still need to feed for flower after the plants get the frame work established..

We can hold a mock ā€œguess the dateā€ or ā€œguess the routeā€ game. But, no prizes except the satisfaction of being right or close enough.

My Gurneys order just shipped -well, I just got the email notice the items (2) shipped, via FedEx. This time it has shipped from only 25 miles away from me. Let’s see what crazy route it takes or if (logically) it comes straight here.

My last Gurneys order a couple weeks ago shipped from about 60 + miles away -went to Indiana (and sat for 1.5 days), then back to Ohio, but much further east than I am located, back to a location only 15 miles away then finally arrived. Due to the route and length of days, the rhubarb came with a softish spot with a touch of mold. So far it’s growing ok, so I am hopeful it stays healthy.

Otherwise in the garden , 5 of the 10 asparagus planted a few weeks ago have a single spear above the ground.

I'm watering twice a day right now. Once around 9 in the morning and again around 6-7 in the evening. There's no humidity to speak of and it's dry between each watering. Our highs overnight are also in the 60s or higher now, so it's just evaporating or getting soaked out into the scrubland. Once I get seedlings up and start getting some shade on the beds (hoping that even happens) I'll probably drop back to once a day in the mid-morning.

I'm also keeping it moist right now to discourage kitty, but she has her favorite spot nonetheless. Grrrr

I'm actually interested in making a good compost tea and spraying the pasture with it so I'm open to a good recipe...

I dismantled coop where I had bunnies last year. their poop/bedding decomposed and I have got great soil there. definitely going to keep them again when I move to my new place.
