What did you do in the garden today?

A few years ago I came home with an Early Girl (which I had gone to the nursery for) and one with just a stick labeled "Taxi". Not sure how that got on the cart. It had yellow tomatoes before the Early Girl. I would buy it again but haven't seen it! Looking online it is claimed to be an 80 day tomato though that didn't seem to be the case, maybe they mean from seed.

I don't usually have an edible full size tomato until the end of July or later and that is with plants set out the end of May. The Sungold cherries come in earlier.

when I buy boss for my chickens I simply spare a few and plant them. no idea about variety. definitely not mammoth.
Thats exactly what i did too chickengr but the ones that came from my cousins property
Absolutely!!! Now u got me rethinking putting mine up!
omg!!! Now what do with extravagant harvest?!🍆🌶🫑🧅🧄🥬🥦🍅🌽🥕

Hey I got to thinkin as I was harvesting herbs last night for dinner...could this be rosemary yall instead of sage like I was thinking?
I know I had an awful time getting lavender to sprout and I reseeded several times. And I believe I might have done the same with rosemary lol?

And when we consider jotting a note to ourselves; we think, ohhhhh I'll remember! I hope its lavender! I just harvested my lavender last night (zone 6a). A beautiful harvest. I hang bundles to let the buds dry and drop. and all the scraps get mixed in with the coop bedding. This morning cleaning the poopcoop, i smelled lavender 😁🐓❤️

Wow! Tomatoes look great! I have little green ones started but it will be a bit longer here in NY.

Watered the newer seedlings & potted plants, everything established in the ground can go another day or two. Added fresh worm castings around the tomatoes, cabbage, brussel sprouts, squash & zucchini. I need to get out there and work, but we have new chicklets & after work, dinner & chores I’d rather sit in the garage and watch them than work in the garden. Can’t wait for the weekend so I can do both!
I get more garden work during the week when it cools down then on the weekends like this one will be. Its gonna be 90+ and humid on Sunday. Not looking forward to that. Supposed to throw hay that day. Joy.

Good morning gardeners. I've been up for a while, watered the grass and a few other things, took a shower. Went through some work emails and made coffee, now relaxing for a bit before the rest of the house wakes up and I have to start work. I could see lightning to the Northwest while I was outside, lots of ground strikes as well as cloud to cloud to activity, but couldn't hear the thunder as it's too far away. We got dark and cloudy, the wind blew a little bit, and the patio was wet for about three seconds late yesterday afternoon, very disappointing. Anyway, time for that coffee, have a great day all.
Send some yo energy my way PLEASEEEE!
