What did you do in the garden today?

Bunnies or deer or pretty much anything.

Looks like rosemary, pinch and rub and smell your fingers! That is how I test what is what :lau
Can't be deer cuz of our fence...
Yeah I was doing pull n sniff yesterday trying to distinguish between Oregano and peppermint that some how got all interplanted! 😆

Morning . Skeeters are fewer plus dragonflies hatched . They say they eat skeeters . Ever wonder if fly traps work . Yes but attractant effectiveness varies between brands . I had a low blood sugar of 53 yesterday . Left me wiped out . They have me on Jardiance for my heart but also lowers blood sugar for diabetics .

I need to reset the 4x4 sail post. 2 feet deep wasn't strong enough for the 6 feet above ground. I need to go down at least 3- sigh.
I'll get supplies tonight and do it Sunday. (hope the post stays up through our thunderstorms tonight. Maybe all brace today.)
@TJAnonymous I'm right there with you with the itchy tomato rash. I pruned last night right before showering, fed the mosquitoes while I was out there, so there's that.
Shade cloth is definitely helping with the leave curl here. Previously I only had cloth up on half the garden. All those plants are robust. The cloth free are thin, stress, and curled.
Drove to the airbase for the semi-annual grocery trip there. 80 minute drive turned into 2.5 hours there and 2 hours home INSANE traffic, road closures, detours, stop and go men, and pilot cars. I almost lost my mind. I was afraid we were going to have icecream soup for dinner, luckily the coolers pulled through. What a waste of gas. Sat for so long one place we turned off the cars and just opened windows. OC I am paying for that with my allergies today.

Took some Moringa tree seedlings outside to the new fenced garden area and took what looks like tiny tomato green worms off some of them to the chickens. The worms totally defoliated a couple of the Moringa but I see another like that has started to sprout new leaves from soil level so will see what happens. NOTE: these worms haven't touched any of the (probably) hundred tomatoes in the greenhouse with them.

Cabbage looper caterpillars? Use Bt spray.
