I had to get a Bayer insecticide from Home Depot, I forgot the brand name, but its the only one to mix with water and pour around the fruit trees drip line or in a container. The tree absorbs the insecticide and kills what ever eats its leaves. They give the wait time for fruits and vegetables. The bugs in my area always attack my avocado leaves, I got tired of spraying.
Could look at loquats and persimmons. They grew wild where I grew up and never needed spraying.I am thinking I should plant fig trees at my new place. it seems nothing attacks their leaves. any other hot climate no spraying fruit trees?

I had a fig tree before but took it out and replaced it with a semi dwarf mango tree. I had an abundance of figs yearly, but we have fruit flies where I live, so a lot of the ripe figs had worms. I probably could have put a small fruit bag on each fig, but they didn't sell them before.I am thinking I should plant fig trees at my new place. it seems nothing attacks their leaves. any other hot climate no spraying fruit trees?
I recommend planting a Surinam cherry tree, but only the sweet purple fruited one, the red fruited ones are sour. I eat a few every morning, it has a lot of vitamin C in it. They grow well under the hot tropical sun.I am thinking I should plant fig trees at my new place. it seems nothing attacks their leaves. any other hot climate no spraying fruit trees?
