I did some research before I bought the seeds and the variety I got was Tennessee Red Valencia. Supposedly they are the variety that is typically grown in West Texas/ New Mexico. So I'm hoping they will do good in the extraordinarily dry conditions we are in this year. Also they are supposed to mature @ about 90-100 days versus 120-150 days of others.I wonder if I still have time to plant them here in southeast Georgia. I'll do some research. I would love to make some fresh peanut butter!
I bought my seed from Hancock seeds where I get a lot of my cover crop seeds
