What did you do in the garden today?

Ha, here it is! I now have a tie died pair too, lol. I hate crocs, but I love my crocs. The tie died ones have less holes for sticks to poke thru. :gig I do love hosing them off!

Haha love it! I live in my Crocs Brand flip flops. They look like normal flip flops with a leather strap but they're so comfortable! They don't have holes for fun stuff unfortunately, lol!

Here’s how some of the Swallowtails are doing:

I do too :highfive: I don’t wear shoes much but their flip flops are the best.

It rained today! Not for long, but really heavy, blowing sideways out of the north, which was surprising.

Picked ALOT of green beans - considering about 20 ft row, first picking.

Picked some beets for dinner- yum!

Carrots are coming along. But, since it’s been hot, they aren’t very sweet. So, we will wait a bit longer.

The soybeans for edamame are all picked. I got about 10 quart bags in the freezer.

The sweet potatoes look great - the greenery at least. Wonder how they are doing underground- I’m dying to know!!

Starting to see some see sprouts from the seeds recently planted: mustards, turnips, spinach, and kohlrabi.

Have canned red onions in red wine vinegar, and tonight I canned some “sprited peaches” - peeled peaches n sugar water, cooked a short bit, the packed in jars. The alcohol is added to the jar. I used brandy on half of them and dark rum in the other ones.

No, but other than saying "wear the boot for 3 weeks," they didn't really give me any preparation for what to expect or what I might need after the injections. Maybe because it wasn't surgery they neglected to think about that? The doctor did say that they rarely do the injections because they are not covered by insurance and expensive.

I figured it would be swollen and sore for a day. I didn't quite expect to be on crutches for days... I'm glad I even HAD crutches at home already. They didn't even tell me to get any or that I would need them.

I feel like the rubber band is helping. I still can't put the boot on yet but I am able to put my foot flat on the ground now if I'm sitting in a chair. I can also stand up as long as I don't put my full weight on it. This gives me some hope that I'll have some mobility by tomorrow with only a cane? At least without the crutches, anyway...
I can't believe they didn't prepare you for this....that is insane!
They told me they seldom did the injections because that area is so narrow and thin. And if I chose surgery the recovery would be well over a year long...if it even was partial recovery cause of my other health problems complicating things.
I'd call them first thing Monday!
