What did you do in the garden today?

Wow! My beds are full of bugs! Mostly pill bugs but lots of millipedes, i think, and unidentifieds. Suggestions? I don't know if these are good or bad so im hesitant to kill them. But the entire surface was moving

put a chicken or two for the chicken buffet. they will love it and you will get rid of the nasties.

It's a totally voluntary registration program for those community gardens that people set up to help their communities. It isn't about taxing or regulating our home gardens.

that's the first step. the next one will be taxing them.

I am a fan of zooldes (zucchini made into noodles to use instead of pasta), fritters, bread (sweet). I shred them or zoodle them, salt & drain & freeze to use over the winter too. I also like zucchini boats (stuffed with things like lasagna stuff & baked), or vegetable lasagna. Your's are pretty, good job!

What is your zucchini bread recipe ? I’ve been trying to find a good recipe but haven’t liked the ones I’ve tried this year. (The chickens thought they were good though. ).

You probably don't want my recipe, I don't eat sugar or flour so I use almond flour & monk fruit/erythritol. But if you do I'd be happy to share. I make one with brown sugar & choc chips, makes it taste like a choc chip cookie! & the other one I like is chocolate with a swirl of cream cheese.

I have had 3 rainy days . Did not do much . No sun = no ambition . Cloudy morning then a little sun . Going to try and do some things today . Got a paint job to help with . My nephew is here and wants help painting the exterior of the old cabin . We have a airless paint sprayer . So it should be quicker .

I wish we had just ONE rainy day... We haven't had a drop in over 2 weeks now with no rain in the foreseeable future either.

We had a tiny bit of rain last night, just a bit but it gives me hope for more on Tuesday. I've started looking online for a good green tomato chili recipe, I did find a green tomato green enchilada sauce recipe. It even looks like it could be pressure canned.
