What did you do in the garden today?

Oh hell yah the principal had a wooden paddle, with holes in it too !!
You would gladly take that ass beating just PLEASE. DO NOT CALL HOME, and tell mom and dad I got in trouble at school !! because if THAT happened, the beating you got when you got home made what the principal did to you feel like a massage at a Caribbean Spa.

Nowaday the Mill's and now their Larvae too want to yell at the teachers like it's their fault their rotten spawn got in a fight, got caught with drugs, whatever in class. ZERO responsibility or accountability.

That is a horrible commercial!

Did you know that sweet, sugary ketchup counts as vegetable in schools? The government says so...lol.
I remember years ago, a company tried to make a better catsup, they used honey instead of sugar, because it was healthier, long story short, the catsup industry sued them, because catsup has SUGAR not HONEY and made them say imitation catsup on the label, needless to say they went out of business fairly quick after that.

People deserve the misery their ignorance brings upon themselves.

My youngest son is 20 years old today. He learned how to drive on a 1999 stick shift Jeep and fix it too. Currently drives a manual Mustang.

All my kids know how to cook and have done their own laundry since they were old enough to operate the washer and dryer. They all have chores with no allowance (it's called contributing to the household). And they are all expected to help take care of the animals when needed.

They were also expected to get good grades (anything B or better). And be respectful to their elders.

These were just expectations they grew up with. We spanked them when they were little but that was rarely needed once they got older. It was more effective to simply take away something they valued as a punishment instead... But regardless they all learned the importance of self sufficiency, contribution, and respect for others.

All traits that install all too few and far between.

*waves* Hi I'm a millennial, lol. Y'all probably knew that already though. Think I'm on the older side of the scale there, but not really sure. I'm a little worried about Gen Z though...

I heard a fantastic joke at a Renaissance Fair a few years ago. Three guys were working a crowd waiting for a show, selling pretzels, and popcorn, and such. One guy performs a trick with the stick that all the pretzels are on. The other guy does another trick. The third guy doesn't do anything and somebody in the crowd yells at him "Hey aren't you gonna show us something we've never seen before?" The third guy stands up on the bench and says "Certainly! Ladies and gentlemen, Behold! A millennial with a job!" Cuts a bow to the crowd that's laughing and applauding and proceeds to sell out all the treats he was carrying around.

I did not get into the garden the way I wanted to today. Hubby and I were both too worn out after bad/little sleep last night and called it a rest day instead. I still watered, but the weeds got an extra day to live.
