I kept the injured hen inside another day. She's eating and drinking but still doesn't want to walk on that leg. She holds it up when she stands. Poor girl...
I need to water again. Won't get any time though until tomorrow night at the earliest.
What will you do with them all? Lol...
I'm the one who said they'd be damaged by frost. I don't know from personal experience, just from reading about growing/harvesting luffas online. I remember reading someone went home from a party when she heard it was going to frost that night. She "had to get her luffas in!"Someone on here had said to be sure I brought them in before the frost got to the because it would ruin them. So that’s what I was basing my decision on.
I’ve never grown them before. I plan to use them as sponges.
So, it will be okay for them to freeze or at least get frosted on the vine?
How are they with squash vine borer? I only grow butternut now because they are more resistant but I have some of those seeds I’ve been wanting to try out!Y'all!!! These pumpkins won't stop! If anyone has every struggled to grow pumpkins, plant Long Island Cheese Pumpkins!
