Happy Valentine Gardeners.. Realized I have no seeds for jalapeno.
Must remedy right away.

Cloudy here. And there air is damp. The ground cannot dry with all the moisture in the air.
So I decided to think about sunny days and DD and I planted 70 cells with tomato seeds (SuperSauce x50, Super Sweet 100 x10, and Cherokee Purple x10). Those are in the DIY grow tent on heat mats. I thought about turning the LEDs off until things start sprouting in a week, but I left them alone on their timers. My heat mats are on the same timer. The garage is heated to around 65F, so I don't think the heat mats going off at night is that big of a deal. In nature it cools down at night... Those heat mats sure have the grow tent warm though. It must be 80F in there with the 5 mats running. I was shocked how warm it actually was. And the water trays seem to be working as the humidity felt comfortable when I reach in but there's not beads of water on the plastic either.

Nothing here today but chia watering.
62 yesterday and winter storm warning tomorrow for 3-8 inches lol Then back to 50s for the weekend. Typical.
Hope to get to the horseradish leaves this weekend and remove the fan from the old greenhouse and size it up for the plexi greenhouse.

I need to start my cauliflower seeds this week. I also have some trees (honey mesquite, mimosa) and some new flower seed (plumeria, Egyptian spinach) that I want to try to germinate. Probably need to repot the Mexican petunia and sweet basil cuttings too.
