What did you do in the garden today?

Plants arrived from Indiana berry. 2 Kinds of grapes and 2 kinds of raspberries. They always send nice well rooted plants

Strawberry seeds have germinated for the first time in I can't even remember how many years!
The tomato seedlings have graduated to the greenhouse, but it looks like it will be just day camp for them in there for the next couple of days as temperatures will be dropping below 42 at night and that's my threshold for them. So I'll walk them to the workshop each night and back into the greenhouse in the morning.
So much pollen and smoke in the air has my sinus' on FIRE, new eyeglasses aren't happening matters.
And yes, there are exercises to help with vertigo. I don't find them of much help myself, but variations help with recovery time. And it also depends on WHAT is causing the vertigo-nerve pinch, crystals in the ear, fluid in the ear, neuro issue.

Ice cream report - Kemps peanut butter brownie Mash up ice cream is every bit as good as the old baskin robbins. The chocolate icecream flavor is more mild as it is a chocolate vanilla swirl.

That's pretty amazing. I once woke up from sleep vomiting from how badly the room was spinning. It took years for it to gradually go away. There are exercises?
Lay on bed with head tilted back off the edge of bed and count to 20, turn right on your side with head and chin tilted down and count to 20, sit up while keeping head and chin tilted down and count to 20. Then do the same thing for left side on the opposite side of bed.

If the spinning in my head was any faster, I would probably be able to fly, too bad it went away, I felt like I was on to something.

I was given 12 large tubs that cattle farmers use for feeding minerals/supplements. I'm trying to plan out how I'm going to use them.... I think I might put a couple of pineapple plants in a few of them. Not sure I have enough room in my south facing windows for all these giant tubs.... 😂

I repainted mine yesterday.
This was from last year.

Have you successfully done this before and brought to fruit production? My Doyle Thornless Blackberry dropped tons of seed that sprouted one year, but they didn't grow like the original, so I took them out. I just propagate by cuttings from that.
I have fruited black raspberry from seed. I have red raspberry that should fruit this year from seed. Blackberry should fruit next year. From seed is a gamble as to fruit quality. However chances are better from named varieties. It took me years to learn how to grow the seed.

It's for digging down deep and turning over the soil. You step on it, rock it from side to side to sink the tines down deep, then step back and crank that soil up. It breaks up soil really well.
Well, I think I need a broadfork! I can see how it would be a great asset in my heavy soil garden. Don't really need it for the sandy soil. Thank you!

My first batch of seedlings are doing well, we are going to plant them this weekend and cover them.
I planted some carrots, radishes, spinach, sunflowers, zinnias, and large marigold seeds outside 2 days ago.
Been harvesting some asparagus, which is nice.
The Barn Swallows are back! I saw some yesterday, they make me so happy.

I could not break up this impacted soil without it. What is shown in the video, IF ONLY my soil were that soft!! I do have to jump and crank on it. It's a workout. But I'm taking back pasture that has been impacted and overgrazed for years, and it wasn't great soil in its natural state either.

I invested in one that is solid steel from top to bottom. I didn't want to regret getting a cheaper one. This should last for generations no matter how many rock ledges I hit. 😂
